PG&E has been doing work outside our window for weeks. wylie spends each morning watching them through the front window and we say hi to them whenever we walk anywhere. he even knows charity's food preferences (she's behind him). she likes eggs and cake. i had to get a photo since they've been such a big part of our lives lately!
wylie missed most of halloween due to a virus that reared its ugly head friday afternoon. so we hung out at home all weekend. it was a beautiful couple days... sunny and warm. here he is in the backyard - in his new miraloma tie-dye.

our days of one on one adventures are coming to an end... so wylie and i hit the zoo together yesterday. this lion was sitting on a rock just on the other side of the glass. we were less than 6 ft from him. it took quite a bit of convincing to get wylie to get close for a pic. smart boy!

today was wylie's school fall fest... all the kids dressed up, ate too much sugar, had fun playing, then melted down. it was a lot of fun and a lot of stimulation.
here is wylie - dressed as a star (the costume he requested) - and 2 of his favorite girls from school. masey dressed as a cheeta and farrah dressed as a princess.
yesterday we went to (another!) pumpkin patch for wylie's 1st school field trip. we rode a train, went on a hayride, picked out a pumpkin and had a good ole' time. here are a couple shots:
alec built wylie a train table earlier this year... and this weekend he and wylie decided to paint it. they did an awesome job. i was super impressed with wylie's painting, and alec's patience with the whole process!
wylie had a great day today! he only went to school for a few hours - the policy for new kids - but he was really comfortable! he met his teachers, played, & did his first school art project!
